Manages operations and activities of store and staff; executes company policies, procedures, and programs to meet or exceed sales and gross margin goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for ensuring their staff give great customer service as well as meet store sales and profitability goals. Includes: training, supervising and evaluating staff. Coordinates all store activities in a manner that maximizes sales, profits, and customer satisfaction.

Supervises the interviewing, selection, hiring, and training of all associates.

Maintains a high level of customer service by ensuring that service standards are high and that complaints from customers are quickly resolved.

Supervises freight process to ensure compliance to company guidelines and productivity standards.

Maintains interior and exterior store standards; ensures merchandise presentation is in accordance with company direction.

Implements safety and shrink best practices.

Manages and supervises office functions, payroll, and controllable expenses.

Develops and implements creative plans to increase store sales and decrease loss.

Manages and maintains required inventory levels.

Maintains communication with district/regional managers to stay abreast of company initiatives.

SUMMARY:

Helping prepare the weekly product orders.

Submitting bi-weekly shampoo orders for groom room/ U-do it’s.

Receiving weekly product orders into Lightspeed.

Monitoring groom schedule for any errors.

Updating Store supplies order form weekly.

Making sure special orders process is completed.

Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments)

Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs.

Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best.

Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates.

Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines.

Act as your store’s representative and set an example for our staff.

Responsible for delivering our customers and their pets safe, high quality, groom services that are in line with our Core Values and Salon Policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for participating in all store activities in a manner that maximizes sales, profits, and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for maintaining a minimum Revenue Per Hour Rate of $54.00
  • Responsible for working the alternative work schedule assigned by management.
  • Responsible for adhering to all Policies and Procedures, Salon Policies, Core Values, Check In and Check out Procedures.
  • Responsible for professionally and safely performing grooming services on pets as requested by customers. Grooming Services to include but not limited to;
    • Haircut Services- (Buzz Cuts, Dog-e-style, Shear Style, Kitt-e-style and Puppy Packages)
    • Bath Services- (We- do-it Scrubs, Premium Scrubs, Ultimate Scrubs)
    • A La Carte Services- (Nail Trims, Nail Grinds, Gland Expressions, Teeth Brushings, Sanitary Trims, Face Trims, Paw Trims, Paw Pad Shaves)
  • Responsible for ensuring the safety and well being of all pets.
  • Treat every pet with compassion.
    • Talks to the pet or uses other techniques to calm the pet.
  • Responsible for safely and effectively utilizing grooming instruments including shears, clippers, brushes, combs, nail clippers, nail grinders and dryers.
  • Responsible for reading written and/or receiving oral instructions to determine the clipping pattern desired by the customer.
  • Responsible for placing the pet on the grooming table and fitting the grooming collar on the pet to safely secure the pet to the table.
  • Responsible for studying proportions of the pet to determine the most appropriate cutting pattern to achieve desired style.
  • Responsible for clipping the pet's hair according to the determined pattern.
  • Responsible for combing and shaping the pet's coat.
  • Responsible for providing quick and courteous service to all customers by utilizing “Check In” and “Check Out” Procedures.
  • Clean and maintain the Salon so that it is sanitary and safe for people and pets in accordance with Daily and Weekly Salon Cleaning Checklists.
    • Cleaning includes but is not limited to; all equipment, supplies, tools, force dryers, stand dryers, groom tables, tubs, windows, and floors.
